About Me

I attended Auburn University to study Computer Engineering before transferring to the University of Tulsa to pursue one of the nation’s leading Cybersecurity programs in 2022.

I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Cybersecurity in May 2024. I was one of only a handful of people to ever graduate from the program at that time and had the pleasure of working closely with some of the brightest and most capable cybersecurity and IT professionals this nation has to offer.

During my time at the University of Tulsa I was involved with multiple high-level cybersecurity research projects and was a prominent member of both the Root66 Cyber Club and the notorious CTF team known as “Shadow Wizard Money Gang.” Our team competed against top cybersecurity teams from around the world, earning victories in multiple international CTF competitions and even hosting one of our own, which we also won.

Starting in 2023 I started working in the college’s SOC department and routinely monitored and neutralized cybersecurity threats on the university’s network, including those originating from hostile nation-state actors overseas. I worked with a range of threat-hunting and incident response tools at the time, including Windows Defender for Endpoint, Armis, AC-Hunter, and more.

During my studies I worked closely with several leading scholars and professors in the cybersecurity and IT disciplines, many of whom were renowned in their respective fields and often had direct ties to the DoD, NSA, CIA, FBI, and other three-letter agencies. These incredible people were my mentors and they taught me everything from digital forensics to reverse engineering. I credit them a great deal for my knowledge of this discipline and I wouldn’t be here without them. The same is true for the rest of my friends, peers, and colleagues from the university.

After graduating my first job was for Amazon Robotics as a contract deployment engineer, retrofitting Amazon warehouses across the South with cutting-edge, confidential robotics technology. I was also an IT specialist for Rabren General Contractors and worked closely with the IT Department Head to effectively manage, support, and upgrade their internal systems.

Shortly after working for Rabren I moved to Birmingham and worked for Field Advantage as a Field Technician, where I serviced IT systems at various RaceTrac Petroleum sites across the state. I was also certified for level 2 and 3 EVSE installations, and installed 250V and 450V EV chargers for both leading corporations (Amazon, Tesla, etc.) and small businesses around Birmingham.

Finally, after moving back to Auburn, I worked for Geek Squad as an Advanced Repair Agent, repairing computers, tablets, and phones for the people of Auburn-Opelika.

What I mean to say is, if I can’t fix it, few others can. Send me a text at 334-758-6737 or an email at solidsamrepair@gmail.com with a description of your problem I will get back to you ASAP.
